Compliance at Trianel – acting responsibly and with integrity
Our self-understanding
As a responsible company, it is part of Trianel’s self-understanding and aspiration that both national and international regulations as well as its internal company rules and corporate values are observed and followed. That is why Trianel has set up a comprehensive compliance management system.
The compliance management system covers all values and principles, measures and processes as well as structures required by the company management to ensure that the company management, employees and third parties act in accordance with the rules.

Fair Play – Trianel Code of Conduct
Trianel and its entire staff have adopted the principles of fair play, transparency and respect, and consider them a fundamental tenet for their day-to-day work.
The company has introduced an extensive compliance management system to safeguard and monitor compliance with the applicable regulations and required conduct. The Code of Conduct, which gives our staff and business partners an overview of our fundamental rules, is part of this system.

Trianel Code of Conduct for Suppliers
As a leading municipal utility cooperation, Trianel relies on an entrepreneurial alliance that pursues common goals and represents shared values. Together with our suppliers, we want to shape the present and create a future worth living through economically, ecologically and socially responsible business practices.
To underline these values, Trianel has drawn up a Code of Conduct for Suppliers. Our suppliers are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct.
In addition to the standards and principles of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the national requirements of Germany’s Supply Chain Act (LkSG), the values already practised by Trianel and codified in the Trianel Code of Conduct have also been incorporated. After all, only those who treat each other fairly, transparently and equally will be able to realise ideas together in the future.
In addition, Trianel has appointed a human rights officer who, as a confidential reporting point, receives specific tip-offs about suspected human rights and environmental violations by Trianel itself or a contractual partner.

Reporting point
Any information about suspected violations of laws and internal regulations, as well as suspected human rights and environmental violations, can be reported to our ombudsman and human rights officer. The information received will be treated in the strictest confidence and will only be disclosed to a Trianel contact with the consent of the whistle-blower.
The ombudsman and human rights officer is available to the whistle-blower as a point of contact at any time and provides a legally protected and confidential area outside the company.
The aim is to create an environment in which everyone can work together in harmony. Investigating and preventing potential violations and crimes, such as corruption, is essential to protect both individuals and the company from significant reputational and financial damage.
